DIY Glitter Ornament Gifts

Glitter Ornaments make great gifts and are super easy to make and personalize!

First, I started with a clear ornament that I purchased in a pack at Hobby Lobby.

To glitter the ornament, I used a liquid hairspray from the dollar store and I swirled it around the inside of the ornament, taking care to coat the entire inside of the ball. Be sure not to shake, as it will cause the liquid to bubble up. Then shake a generous amount of fine glitter in the ball and use the same swirl motion to coat the inside. After the entire ornament is coated, you may pour out the excess glitter for your next project! I glued my silver top on with Liquid Glass from Close to my Heart after I let it dry so the pins on the hook element would not scratch the inside of the ball.

To vinyl ornament, I just chose a font and a small graphic that I found in the Silhouette Online store. Tied a pretty ribbon on top and it's ready to go!

The Ornament is normal sized, although it looks small in the photo! I can't wait to create more!! I do need to get some fancier ribbon though! This ribbon doesn't do this beautiful art piece justice!

That's it folks! Till next time, please if you have any questions, leave a comment! :)

Welcome lil' Cowboy Card

I made this little baby with files from the Silhouette Online Store and tweaked them a bit! I LOVE the way this came out! Fonts are Xiomara and Rio Oro, both obtained online. Hope you like it! :)
