Christmas Cards in a Flash!

So, I make my own Christmas cards each year and I need to get going on them...So, I saw this sketch and used it with a multitude of patterns. I wanted to stray from the traditional colors of red and green on these. They came out fantastic and I can't wait to send them out!!

Have you started your Christmas cards yet?!?!

Santa Card Swap

So by know, y'all know I love my swaps! Here's another one for ya! This one is for a Santa Card! It was inspired by a card on Pinterest and I added my own spin to it! I love being crafty!!

CTMH Inspired Butterfly Cards

I recently got a kit for a workshop put on by my good friend, Jen. She is a CTMH consultant and hosts all of these fabulous workshops. I finally finished my kit, she supplied all the die cuts, card bases and envies. I only needed to assemble and stamp a sentiment. I love how they came out!

Christmas Ornament Swap

I love to swap with my fellow crafters. It gives me a chance to use my stash and gain new friends. This month I participated in a handmade ornament swap. You were to create 2 handmade ornaments for your partner and they would do the same. Below you will see my ornaments that I will send to my partner! My partner collects tea cups, so I thought I'd make an ornament teacup! I sure hope she enjoys them! I had fun making them! 😀

The Big Fresno Fair Home Arts Entries

Hello!!! I am so happy and excited to announce that out of the 12 projects I entered, I came out with 4 First Place ribbons and 4 Third Place ribbons! The competition was fierce and I'm so proud of all my entries!

Again, I am so blessed to be able to have been recognized by my work. Paper crafting is truly a labor of love and it comes from the heart!

Long time no post!!!

I haven't posted in sooooo long! Here are a couple of my newest creations! I love to watch YouTubes and search Pinterest for any inspiration. I have done loads more projects and even entered 12 projects in my County fair!! I will post those at a later date! :)

This was inspired by Jennifer McGuire. You stamp a background stamp with white pigment ink, let dry, and then stamp over with dye ink, and the white pigment ink will "resist" the dye ink. It looks very cool. I popped up the stripes with foam tape and the sentiment is stamped on the card front.

The sentiment is heat embossed on vellum and then adhered to patterned paper which is adhered to the card front. Very simple, yet elegant and classic.
