Jaded Blossom-December 11th Guest Designer

Hello! I was so excited to be chosen as a Guest Designer for Jaded Blossom for December 11th. It is quite the honor and I appreciate it so much!

First, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to Candace & Michelle for allowing me to showcase their wonderful products on the blog!

Ok, so this time of year, everyone is scrambling for that perfect little something. Whether you need it for a classroom treat, co-worker treats, or even a Cookie Exchange party favor, I believe my project can fill all of those needs! :-)

I created a favor pack of hot cocoa and marshmallows. I used Jaded Blossom's Winter Penguin stamp set and Ticket Book Die Set. The test tubes are food safe and I purchased them from eBay.

Find these wonderful products and more at www.jadedblossom.com

It's simple, fun, and sweet! You can even have your little ones help with the marshmallow part, one in the tube, one in their mouth! :-)

This next photo shows the project vertically, if you are familiar with the Ticket Book die, there is a flap on the other side, that you can personalize to add the recipients name or your name as the giver.

I hope you enjoyed my project!

Thank you again to the Jaded Blossom Team!

Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Believe, just beCLAUS.

Christmas Ornament Swap

I love to swap with my fellow crafters. It gives me a chance to use my stash and gain new friends. This month I participated in a handmade ornament swap. You were to create 2 handmade ornaments for your partner and they would do the same. Below you will see my ornaments that I will send to my partner! My partner collects tea cups, so I thought I'd make an ornament teacup! I sure hope she enjoys them! I had fun making them! 😀

Long time no post!!!

I haven't posted in sooooo long! Here are a couple of my newest creations! I love to watch YouTubes and search Pinterest for any inspiration. I have done loads more projects and even entered 12 projects in my County fair!! I will post those at a later date! :)

This was inspired by Jennifer McGuire. You stamp a background stamp with white pigment ink, let dry, and then stamp over with dye ink, and the white pigment ink will "resist" the dye ink. It looks very cool. I popped up the stripes with foam tape and the sentiment is stamped on the card front.

The sentiment is heat embossed on vellum and then adhered to patterned paper which is adhered to the card front. Very simple, yet elegant and classic.

Playing with the Boys...

Good Evening!! I had so much fun playing with the boys today! Those boys being stamps from C Thru the Woods by Charlene Woods. Find her products at cthruthewoods.blogspot.com.

Cowboy Tag
The Clovis Rodeo is coming up and I was inspired by this stamp to create a dusty wrangler after a day in the ring.

A card created for a bridal shower, I went with a "Something Blue" theme. I love the way the glitter sets off the card.

A scrapbook layout that will accomodate 6 - 3x3 photos, it's just a fun and simple page.

Till next time! Just Believe! ~Candice

Sparkle and Shine

I've been feeling under the weather but decided to brave my craft room and put together a quick card.

I was inspired by a stamp set that I had bought and the bokeh technique that's making its rounds on YouTube.

I used watercolor paper to paint the background, by smooshing my ink pad on my craft mat and I stamped the edges with some Hero Arts Unicorn ink with a polka dot stamp.  I love hero arts ink because once the ink settles it provides a softer look and it's not to harsh. It provided the right look that I was going for.

All the other elements are your basic techniques, with sequins for that added bling!

I really love this little card.

I'm all ears!

I made this super cute birthday card for my godmother!

It was quick and simple! I used a cut file from Miss Kate's Cuttables!

My favorite part?! I didn't have yellow ribbon so I dyed white grosgrain with some CTMH Buttercup Ink Pad and a mini mister filled with water!

Possibilities are endless when it comes to crafting!
